Tempted by Hogwarts Legacy, but I might wait for another sale as I have several 100 hours of games to clear already…
There are probably some indie gems I should be loading up on that I have never heard of!
I moved from an lcd switch to the lcd steam deck. It’s a pretty console like experience if you just buy games from steam and play them (although you can dick about with stuff if you want to).
The OLED screen looks like a great upgrade. The other consoles do have a bit more oomf, so can run at slightly better graphics settings, at the cost of lower battery life and having to deal with windows. I would t worry about extra resolution on the screens. You won’t be able to tell at 7”, and I expect the OLED screen will look better.
First recommendation would be not to open it. Return it. Get an OLED instead. It’s better and cheaper.
Or contact valve and ask for a partial refund if you want to keep the old model.
See if it actually arrives. If it does, then you appear to be doing well. Most likely it won’t.
