3 hours later is within 30 days too, am pushing for RMA. My Dead pixel is unfortunately super obvious holding device at arms length, right in middle of screen and since its red out it shimmers green and looks awful. It looks like there’s a tiny drop of water refracting the sub-pixels
-50mv when the operating voltage is like 1.2v (totally guessing) is a sizable decrease in voltage. its not very small imo

yup I was paid by asus to order a LE edition, and get mad that I got dead pixels, busted :(
depends how noticable it is for you honestly. I have one in middle of screen that is super obvious against white and tons of other backgrounds. regular gaming looks like theres a smudge or something distorting colors around it, giving a green tint. Its really bad. on white webpages it sticks out and don’t even need to search for it at all eyes are immediately drawn to it.

Plus I really like look/feel of the LE. Just because its sold out that doesn’t mean RMA won’t be possible for LE. I submitted my help request earlier today after receiving it.
2 dead pixels, 1 is really bad in middle of screen and glimmers green and pollutes entire area around it in tons of scenes, web pages etc.
honestly mines shines green and is super obvious when browsing web pages or any scene where color is consistent and blends red across it, entire area gets a tinge of green around it. The effect is worse harder drive brightness, if it was just black during most situations it wouldn’t be as big of a deal I think, but its bright green in most cases.
My blue pixel is 100% fine tho
yeah dead blue doesn’t seem very noticable and I agree with keeping it I would too
i have a dead red and dead blue.
Blue one 100% can’t notice in almost any scenes, only in explicit testing of 100% blue rgb, otherwise it vanishes.
Red one shows up everywhere, glows green in most cases, and sticks out like a sore thumb looks like super weird spec of dust…
So if it was me, I’d 100% keep 1-2 dead blue pixels if didn’t notice anything from them on whites etc. dead red/green tho seems really bad
i have a dead blue and dead red pixel. The blue is hardly noticable and can only really see it in testing with 100% blue and its just a sliver.
Red is extremely noticable and even if I didn’t look for dead pixels its right in middle and incredibly obvious, glows green, and looks like a pin hole in tons of scenes
Same time am hearing about really bad mura effects on samsung panels but same time yeah I don’t wanna deal with yoyo of RMA and months of being without what I paid alot for… I really hope some QA goes into the RMA to ensure they aren’t sending out decks with super blatant dead pixels.
Just got mine today, its 1 dead blue sub pixel to right, and 1 what I thought was just red in middle but its every color except blue. and it glows weird and green during like any grayscale and most stuff like orange etc.
holding deck at normal distance its impossible not to see, even if I didn’t look for it, looks like a super weird glowing spot of dust or black dust on screen all the time.

1 of them could 100% live with wasn’t noticable would blend out except in 100% blue test and was off to side.
Red one is right in middle of screen and maybe is more cuz its every color but blue, and shows up weird and green in most normal screen states,
Just out of curiosity long as you don’t push frame limiter up it won’t push monitor harder yeah?
Looking forward to anything VRR related would be absolutely huge if its possible

curious to see this kinda shot on the BOE panel just to compare it to Samsung panel since might help explain why ppl are experiencing more Mura effects on samsung screens

measured on accurate scale yeah? Thats pretty huge if so, interesting to know where the weight difference is, and if its to do with different screen at all or just case
my max is around 20MB/s with OLED… and speed tests are hitting 80MB/s
