I should add that I took the price of the 8 Pro here. As the Pro is the big shot flagship model here.

So I went and checked. That thing retails for €1100 around here. And I don’t know about you guys, but when I buy a phone that costs that kinda money I expect a solid piece of hardware. Not something where the manufacturer decided to skimp out of rigidity because they were being cheap. Not because of some aesthetic choice, no this is just cheap.
And they expect these things to last 7 years? Yeah right.
While I almost never use wireless charging (I keep hearing that it degrades the battery faster, not sure if there’s any truth to that), I do love the magnets of Apple’s MagSafe idea. It’s really nice to just be able to stick my phone to the fridge or easily click it to my car’s dashboard.
Good to see it coming it Android devices too.
€729 in this country. The pro model is €1100. Either way, this is not acceptable for an expensive piece of hardware that we are expected to carry on our person at all times.
