Yes, Ill either upgrade to the 7800x3d or wait until the 9 series comes out and see what thats looking like.

So far the performance is really good enough for me. I dont have to turn graphics down and im usually sitting at 90+ on most games. Never below 60 on anything I played.

So i’ll wait a few months/a year before I upgrade cpu.

So far it’s been very stable. I had some issues when I first booted it up, but I think that was more of a problem with Windows 11.

Boot times are pretty fast, I’d say it powers on and I’m at the login screen in about 30ish seconds from pressing the power button.

I havent overclocked the ram yet but I am going to be oveclocking the ram, gpu and maybe the cpu as well to test OC stability and performance.

Overall I would recommend this build. It runs well.

I’ve been with Nvidia for the last few years.

Well I cared more about raw performance than raytracing. And I figured if I wasnt using Ray tracing or DLSS then 7800xt was a better deal.

I also think Amd’s FSR s actually pretty good, but mostly not needed since the 7800xt has been so good so far.

If you’re going to be using Ray tracing and DLSS then get the 4070 for sure.

But if you’re not then the 7800xt is fantastic so far.
