I’ve only had the first and second gen 1080p Chromecast but contents on the Apple TV definitely look better than those two, even better after you’ve calibrated using your iPhone.

This never occurred to me before but does Apple TV have activation lock?
This is obvious seeing that Messenger preview appears sharp.
This! Now with Sections I organize my groceries according to the supermarket aisle so that I can get everything in just one sweep.
I will wear one type of band for a while. After a while I will switch to another band, and after that another. I like how it looks different in any photos that it appears in. Nobody else notice it nor even care, but I do and that’s all that matters.
I’m still using the 4k 2017 one. Still getting the latest updates. The only feature I personally am missing out on is eARC.
That’s really low. My series 4 still had 88% after 4 years but suddenly dropped to 76% after 5 years. Something to do with battery aging that I don’t understand.
The previous owner of your S7 must’ve been someone who workout really a LOT!
I can only respond to some of the cons:
- Google sync used to be push but Google disabled it to encourage (force) people to use Google apps instead. So GMail, Google Calendar, etc will still get push updates.
- Photo sharing can be done using iCloud link; select the photos, open share sheet, Copy iCloud Link. This is how I share with Android friends who wants the original copy instead of scaled and stripped down WhatsApp version.
- I have an apple watch which I use as a camera remote and it works regardless where I am in the photo (or not in the photo at all). People always ask “who will press the shutter” because they thought it’s on timer lol.
- Miracast and ChromeCast are supported by apps that choose to include it like Netflix, but not Apple’s apps such as Apple TV app.
You need to make sure you only fall these ways next time.
kandaq@alien.topBto Apple•New Apple TV Rumored to Launch Next Year With These ChangesEnglish1·2 years agoATV 2017 4K? I’m still using the same with the original remote that everyone hated so much but I totally love.
Same here because I’m mostly at home. It’ll turn on when I’m out purely for showing off whatever watchface I’m using at that time.
10.2 will bring back swipe to change watch face for those who hate its absence.
She clearly stated that she doesn’t like it so stop trying to convince her to use it.

I use RunGap app to sync with Strava and Garmin. It’s a subscription app but quite affordable for the functionality it provides. I’m not sure if can sync your kind of workout. I only do running exercise.
kandaq@alien.topBto Apple•Weekly "What are you watching on your Apple TV" discussionEnglish1·2 years agoThis and Silo are the only shows that I watch weekly because I couldn’t wait to see what happens next. For the rest I just wait until the season concludes and binge all.
Must be device specific? I had Xiaomi, while the people I know have Samsung, Oppo, Realme and the only way to go back is to tap the back button at the bottom left corner of the screen which is why I get annoyed having to twist my thumb all the way to that corner.
Plus developers prioritize Apple over Android because they get more $$$ from Apple users.
But one of the things I like so much in iOS that I get annoyed it’s not on Android is the swipe from left to go back. Most apps implement this and I use it all the time.
For me I started with XBMC running on a raspberry pi. With Apple TV I started with Plex and now it’s all streaming apps. Didn’t know XBMC is now called Kodi.
My friend learned this the hard way. After a bit of ocean water splash the phone can’t charge. But he was lucky as cleaning the charging port saved the day.
