before I have iPhone I had iPod touch, that’s my first iOS device. iOS just felt straightforward and easy to use whereas other OS you need one or more step to get the same function, iOS just did it with fewer steps. Granted that Android has its advantage over iOS such as more configurable/customizable but at most time I dont need that. From that moment on I always had iPhone, my last phone before iPhone probably a Nokia.
what’s your job or any job has to do with apple watch? I use my apple watch for fitness related thing like workout/sleep tracking/ hr monitoring and at a glance notifications.
I dont know if altimeter using gps data for calculate altitude. Afaik it uses barometric pressure to calculate estimated altitude, and even slight changes in air pressure might cause the altimeter show wrong altitude

I would suggest you wipe clean your camera before taking photos. Most of my friends saying “my iPhone photos looks so baaaad” while there’s smudges on the camera glass
Get SE or series 8/7. Most people just wear it and forget about it
Whatever come to iPhone display I hope it was worth it
I turned off AOD on my Series 8 and boy do I have longer battery life, though I sometimes missed having to glance at my watch to check time without raising my wrist
If you dont really use it near water I suggest you hold on to it until series 10 released. Then buy series 10 or series 9 at discounted price.
iPhone X does not get latest iOS 17. since S9 requires iPhone Xs or later I dont think this is a wise choice
