seems like the target audience for this is very niche. People who want a first party way to stream their games, but also share a TV and don’t want to just pay a cheaper price for a phone mount, but are willing to spend $200 on a dedicated streaming device.
im willing to bet this doesn’t sell well, but im hoping it gets jailbroken. this little device could be a hell of an emulation device at a little over half the cost of the steamdeck.
Different goals for different devices regardless.
The PS Portal is literally just a streaming device, and i’ve heard its actually pretty good for what it is, especially considering it keeps the Dualsense features.
the Steamdeck is for far more than that, and it wasn’t perfect at launch by any means.
