I am on that side that believes SD2 is actually pretty far away like 4-6 years from release. Valve achieved what they wanted now - a device that’s very compelling to buy that makes you a game hoarder also. The project to feed into the main business model is there and it works.
When it becomes obsolete and there are fairly significant advances in tech, then I think news can be on the horizon about the SD2. This is all my assumption

For you, u/spartan_jack008 and other people that will look for this solution - use Clonezilla.
It clones/duplicates your entire Steam Deck to an external HDD/SD card and then you use Clonezilla again to extract everything back on the deck.
Just write on YouTube “Clonezilla Steam Deck” and there will be a guy showing exactly how to do it step by step
I think it’s great. I’m into bouldering and I think the devs made a very good job. Really looking forward to the Boulders Mountain DLC… gonna be a blast!
As OP said… you just go to Desktop mode, open Mozilla/Chrome etc, then just Google “Tony Hawk ps2 download” and you’ll be 3 clicks away from the game:)
My LCD has them tight and nice and OLED has them loose like they’re bought from a Bazar shop…
