I personally made the switch from a pixel 6 pro to the 15 pro max a few weeks ago. I’ve been using android forever but was unsatisfied primarily with the screen brightness, battery life and delayed notifications. With the iPhone finally getting usb-c, I decided it was time to give it a try.

The operating system itself isn’t that big of a deal. You get used to whatever. What has really won me over though is the app experience. It is so obvious with most apps that they have been developed for iPhone first and foremost, and Android second.

They just work better and integrate with the phone better.

Carplay has also generally worked better for me than Android Auto. AA looks better though, but CP is more smooth. Although it has some limitations like not being able to scroll too far if the vehicle is rolling.

I like the notifications on the always-on display quite a bit better on my iphone.

Gmail notifications finally arive on time. Had a few issues with Google Calendar notifications lately though, not sure why. And youtube notifications are silent even with sound being turned on. But at least they show up and on time.

Screen brightness is wonderful and the battery life is night and day compared to the p6pro. I would often finish my days under 20% on the p6pro and I usually end above 75% on the 15 pro max. Both phones would get topped a bit while connected to my car on the way to and from work.

I think photography is pretty much on the same level as other flagship phones. Video is superior though.
