Dollar store or thrift store?

You seem to know more than me so forgive is this is out of place, but how are they incapable of getting performance out of their GPUs?

I mean they basically have an answer for everything except nvidias absolute top of the line, and their RT is one generation behind. Don’t they have slightly better raster performance too at similar price points?

Excuse me if you were just being hyperbolic but the notion that AMD cant answer one card from NVIDIA and thus they are complete shit is a bit hyperbolic to me

You bought a tech item a year after it came out, and almost a year later a slightly, teeny bit better one came out. That’s normal time frames in the tech world my dude

And not to get too philosophical here but I would encourage all those with buyers remorse to be happy with what they own. Yes, if I could snap my fingers and turn my SD into the new version I would, but the regular SD is perfectly fine and up until 12 hours ago was basically the best on the market

Also think of this… surely valve will upgrade the chip inside within the next probably 2 years. Once there is 50-100% gains to be made it will be unavoidable. And then there you will be, with a regular OLED steam deck you just barely bought when you could have that shiny new one…

Enjoy your perfectly adequate deck, wait a little bit longer and before you know it the real steam deck 2 will be here and you can upgrade then
