14700k given extra core & little increases clock speed than 13700k.

Max TDP for 13600k is 181.

Mine 13700kf TDP is 253w but only max around 240w.

Try ovoid using Gigabyte Perfdrive node let it set default (Optimized).

Reset CMOS to flush bios setting. Set BIOS to default, set CPU Upgrade (Max Performance), Disable Enhanced Multi-Core Performance, Enable XMP & Enabled Resizable Bar.

Leave it TDP & V-Core in auto first and save bios setting. In Windows’ power plan, set to high performance. Then run cinebench.

Of everything works, go back to BIOS, set TDP P1: 125w & P2: 181w.

The answer is yes. Not only CPU you change, also motherboard as well because different chipset. Fresh Windows install is recommended to eliminate bluescreen error issue.

Perfdrive: Optimized.

CPU Upgrade: Max Performance

Multi-Core Enhancements: Disable

Vcore Voltage Mode: Auto

CPU VCore: Auto

Dynamic Vcore: -0.050 (Test if stable & monitor the temperature)

Then save. Test run cinebench r23. Everything is working fine, go back to BIOS, set TDP P1: 125w & P2: 253w.

Update to latest BIOSt first. Second, you should download the chipset driver from the Gigabyte website. This is priority number 1 for the motherboard chipset to work properly…

Make sure disable Multi-Core Enhancements, set tdp1: 125w & tdp2: 253w in BIOS. Also, it is worth trying to use Kryosheet for CPU.

Just go for 14700k. Has extra core & clock speed increases when compared 13700k.
