You admit you don’t moderate anyway, just stop being a mod.
From your replies it’s obvious that you’ve ruled out stepping down as mod already before posting this, so this post just comes across as a way to make you feel better about a decision you already made and an attempt to legitimize it under a faux veil of transparency with the community.
You can just tap the screen to turn on the phone, you don’t need to press the sleep / wake button.
Also if you have raise to wake turned on you can just pick up the phone and swipe up to go home.
I agree there are big improvements needed to be made and I hope they make them. But one thing I do like about the widgets is that I can use “nice looking” watch faces and just scroll up to get my information. Previously I never used nice clean faces because getting to quick info was always a pain without complications.
We just need to be able to customize the stack more instead of relying on the (dumb) “smarts”.
So dramatic over something so minor that’s coming back in the next update.
Pressing the face for a second (you know, the way face switching worked for years) is now onerously described as “going into the menus”? Sheesh.
