I know 2 people other than me who also have a steam deck and their units have the same click sound. My lcd and oled both have it too. My lcd model seems to have gotten quieter with time, probably wore down (comparing to my new oled). I’ve had the lcd model for a year and used it a lot. I think it’s meant to be this way.

I was so sad when my original steam deck’s fan smell faded away. Was hoping to smell it again but nope
