I wouldn’t particularly worry about it unless it’s all you do and you use the same shader for every game. If you mostly play emulators all with the same “mask” on the image then yes, that mask will be burnt in.
If there’s some kind of Pixel shift feature on the display then it’s a complete non issue.
Also same TDP with a smaller node means it should be able to hold higher clocks on the CPU with the GPU pegged at 1600mhz. Small difference but it could be the difference between smooth and some hitches. I think combining that with the faster RAM adds up to a small but measurable performance uplift.
