in my case the audio crackling varies from game to game. One game I noticed a very slight crackling, on a rhythm game I noticed the crackling is really bad that nothing is in sync. Some other games run just fine so I’m not sure what is happening.

Bombergirl. Not a Steam game so I had to do some whacky steps through Bottles

Does it run great? no, idk why it’s not stable but I’m guessing because desktop mode is holding it back.

Is it still fun to play at least? yes, when I’m done on PC I always jump to steam deck to continue some matches

Bombergirl, originally an arcade game by konami but it had an official PC port and it went f2p as of last year.

I bought Steam Deck specifically for the Bombergirl on-the-go experience. Prior to purchasing, I didn’t know if it will ever run but I just bought it thinking I’ll just install Windows instead.

And found out someone made a general Linux guide into running the game. The steps were confusing but I managed to get it running and now I just play the same game everyday.
