I have many many old games that I didn’t play yet and newer games don’t seem worth it that much. So yeah I mostly bought it cause I have a second job where I have nothing to do.

Next weekend I will do 13 hours Sat and 14 hrs Sunday with nothing to do. All alone… I will kms. Even with the deck it gets sooooo boring. I tend to eat a lot those shifts out of boredom…

I understand man. But my steam deck is still good so I am not forking more money just for oled.

People that have only the steam deck and don’t have other gaming machines at home paired to an oled TV/monitor obviously they shouldn’t be pushed to spend money they don’t have or don’t consider spending on tech.

Then you have the other spectrum of people that have multiple gaming machines and possibly an oled tv/monitor.

For those people that have the money and the gaming machines I would say: get am oled gaming TV or and oled monitor and you are golden.

I do have an oled TV and playing the last of us part 2 on it with HDR on was freaking amazing. Same goes for ghost recon breakpoint hdr is amazing on oled. Not to mention 4K 120hz. A blast man.

People who don’t have money won’t upgrade to oled because they don’t have the money.

People who have the money won’t upgrade cause they have a better experience on a big ass TV or a high refresh rate curved monitor.

Who upgrades? People that really want the oled and/or better battery life and/or lower fan noise. (Me personally, I got the money but I’m good bro)

I guarantee that people on this subreddit that afforded and wanted an oled version for the above mentioned reasons, they got it by now haha.

Kudos to valve. The fact that I can scroll down with my finger on google colab on my steam deck while doing code on a monitor (still on the steam deck), its freaking amazing. Thanks for this amazing enhanced working experience.

Me. Because i want to not lose money on my purchase and because i now use it mostly for work rather than gaming so static images will be plenty tho it is connected to a monitor so it doesn’t matter

Just because its hard to finish them, dirt rally, dragons dogma and civ 5.

I consider dirt rally finished when i upgrade all the cars and civ finished when i played with all civs…

I’ll be honest man. It took me a lot of money to buy this one. I am not selling shit at a loss. I’ll be running this deck into the ground before i buy another handheld.

Making money takes a lot of time and hard work. Not gonna throw them around like that.

Damn. RIP gaming for awhile… tho it won’t be too bad.

I actually struggle to have children and we paid tons of money to IVF to get one and still failed… i wouls trade gaming for kids…

Oh well. It will get harder to engage in your hobbies the first few years. Then you can slowly introduce your children to your hobbies while also let them engage in their own activities with you/by themselves/with their friends.
