  • Same, got it for cleaning my backlog and emulating. And damn is it doing an amazing job. I’ve even been able to play some new games such as RE4 Remake with decent graphics and performance, though I played it on my PC first for the highest possible fidelity. Thanks to my Deck, I’ve played the following:

    • Half Life
    • Half Life 2
    • Portal 2
    • Zelda BOTW (Would have never finished it on my PC)
    • Cyberpunk 2077 (streamed from my PC, would have never finished it either)
    • Little Nightmares
    • Metroid Prime Remastered (Replay)
    • Super Metroid
    • Metroid Zero Mission
    • Metroid Fusion
    • Finally got 120 stars on Super Mario 64 (Render 96 port, Replay)
    • Ghost Recon with the Heroes Unleashed mod (Replay)
    • Conker’s Bad Fur Day
    • Finally finished Banjo Tooie.
    • Max Payne 3 (Replay)

  • Yeah, like I mentioned in another post, I’m still paying my original 256GB Steam Deck I got 6 months ago, I’m definitely not thinking about a new Steam Deck anytime soon, now when a Steam Deck 2 gets announced, I’ll definitely pay attention. I’m still glad we are getting a refresh though, goes to prove that Valve is definitely willing to keep working on the Deck in the long run. Also, these improvements at the same price are just amazing. Valve is great indeed.

  • Rather than downloading CP2077 on my Deck and emulating Zelda TOTK, I’m using Moonlight to stream them from my PC. I love that I can play them in handheld mode or even get a perfect 1080p docked to my TV with as good of a framerate as my desktop with 2060 Super and i5-9600K can do, even with RT on Psycho mode in CP2077 and still get even up to 4 hours of battery. For games that don’t require super low latency, this is the best way to play games on my Deck.
