Good for people that like it but gyro is not for me, when i play with a controller it’s to relax and not wave my hands around, if i need precision nothing beats mouse and keyboard.

SSD for heavier more demanding games, sd card for emulators/retro/indie light games.
I’ve upgraded my ssd to 1tb from day one and feels perfect having no need to use a slower sd card at all, it’s as easily as taking of a few screws and backplate off, changing the ssd card and placing the screws and backplate back, anyone can do it with the minimum knowledge of using a screwdriver.
I just got my deck last week that i had bought last year due the customs fuckery in my country that held the package for almost an entire year and then said they would only receive it after sending it back to the US and be sent to customs again, that on top of a 93% customs fee that basically had me buy a deck for myself and one for the government.
I loved my old psp back in the day and homebrewed the hell of it day dreaming about being able to play my pc games on a portable device, unfortunately it was stollen.
Then came the steam deck that’s that old dream of mine come true, just spent last night porting my mo2 modlist for Oblivion from my pc to the steam deck, adjusting some settings and it’s playing like a dream.
My pc is stupidly more powerful than my deck but i still find myself using the deck far more these days.
I already work all day in front of a pc and nothing beats geting home to my wife, laying in the bed or sofa and playing a bit in the deck to relax.
I have the lcd model and never found the battery lacking for my tastes, for most games i play it gives between 3 to 5h and i rarely get more than that of free time anyway, in the rare cases i do i can always plug it to charge and keep playing lol
