I played through PoE1 on the deck with no issues. I actually loved the controller mapping and hot key layouts. If you use the joysticks it is definitely awkward, but I just used the touch pads.
I actually found them very playable with the trackpads. Specifically I played and completed PoE2:Deadfire on Deck, but I don’t imagine PoE1 would be any different.
Pillars are great games but very painful to play with the deck’s controllers.
Isn’t the font too small to read?

Pillars 2 was among the first games I installed on my deck. It contributed to me having a lukewarm experience in the opening days of owning a deck.
What’s frustrating is that these games were ported to console so they easily could implement controller support.
