I have the same SD card in the deck. Works great compared to my top of the line 512 GB Samsung SD card.

Samsung, team group, SanDisk, ect. Basically all the same thing. Team group has been around for a long time.

Basically and exactly are not the same. Put this card in a goPro and ill give it a few months. Read the reviews on the SanDisk/samsung cards 100k+ reviews vs 1k reviews. I’m sure not every card will fail but on my own experience they haven’t reached samsung nor sandisk levels. TG does make good NVMEs also I use the external enclosure EC-01. If its all you can afford go for it.

Teamgroup is fine. I’ve used their T-Force ram in multiple PC builds, and have had that exact card in my deck since July with zero issues. R/W are as advertised. Will it last as long as a Sandisk? Who knows…but in my anecdotal experience of decades with tech, I’ve only had one SD card die and it was a Samsung (not its fault, ROG Ally fried it).

Honestly worth a shot. Team group is a reputable company and the worst you lose is some games which are easily replaceable.

I’m sure they’re reputable, but “Team Group” just screams shitty Chinese rebrand seller. What an awful name

Yeah I can see that. But they’ve been in business for over 20 years.

It even has a nice “tear here” line for those replacing their internal storage or shell pieces.

The SanDisk Extreme 512GB is on sale for $32.99, pretty good deal as well for a higher performance one:

Spreading your data on multiple cards is wise for people who don’t back up regularly.

I have bought a 1 tb sd from silicon power sd card and it works perfectly fine, so buying one 15 euro’s cheaper might be normal
