1. Can I switch default apps to google’s for the following apps: Caller app, Messaging app, browser, voice assistance, notes and file manager.
  2. What sort of screen on time should I expect (120hz)
  3. Will wireless charging degrade battery at a noticable level. If not which charger to get for Samsung
  4. Does Dex provide any added benefit other than mirroring mobile to a monitor.
  5. Should I opt for s23 plus in your opinion. If so please provide a reason.

Also please keep this as unbiased as possible

yes, for most of those apps. not sure about files and notes. Just don’t use them. Dex is more than mirroring. It’s a desktop environment.

Wireless charging battery degradation is a myth. I’ve been wirelessly charging my S8 for the better part of 6 years and the battery is still in great shape.

    1. yes except for caller app, I think
    2. it depends on what you are doing. I never found SOT to be a good indicator for my use
    3. no, it is slower charging that wired charging so better in that regard
    4. DeX is not the same as mirroring, it’s providing a desktop-like experience for your apps on the phone
    5. you will be the only one to decide. S23+ is bigger in the hand and heavier but has a bigger and more confortable screen and more battery (I found the normal S23’s battery to be more than enough for my use)

I contemplated the ultra or + myself and the + is kinda priced weirdly you can just add 100$ and get the ultra or save 100$ to get the normal s23

I think If you want a big screen just get the ultra add an extra 100$ and get the spen + 12gb ram

And if yo want a smaller screen just get the normal s23
