Integrating a monitor into a PC case has been done before but the Hyte Y70 finally does it right with an ultra high resolution touch screen, an intuitive int...
I’m not gonna go watch the video. But if that’s an asthetic touch screen, that case is so beyond extra it’s ridiculous.
More and more I’m convinced my next case will be a simple black case with metal side panels. I wast want my computer to work, I don’t need to throw any more resources at this shit.
You know you pay for that in your electric bill, right?
This is art, some people like black box, other people like that. As for the cost of electricity, that’s going to be pennies a year, not something to be concerned about.
The previous Hyte Y60 had a similar option, but only provided a (non-touch) screen in kit form, requiring the user to 3D print their own bracket or mount it with double sided tape. Bit jank.
Having it fully integrated like this is pretty great for those who are into the aesthetic. Not my cup of tea, but the implementation is what the Y60 should have had and it’s nice to see that they cleaned it up.

I also just want a black box with a bunch of vent holes on it.
I’m sure the $1 a year it takes to power that screen will be bank account breaking
