I’ve split the bands after having the smart connect option on to finally connect it to the 2.4 Ghz band for setting up the deck.

I’ve tried disabling 160 Mhz on my router, I’ve tried enabling developer tools and disabling WiFi power management option, still no luck.

Can only connect to 2.4 Ghz band. My router is an ASUS RT-AX82U

Any other tips and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Both my son’s and my OLED arent working with 5G. My Ally and our soon to be sold LCD Decks all work fine… Heck, all devices work great except the OLEDs.

Even local network Steam transfer is slow on them both, if 2.4 or 5G. Tried the dev mode disabling of power saving, but no change.

2 4G internet downloading is fine and getting up to 140mb. Not messing with my router since fixing one device model tends to mess everything else up. All devices are fine except the OLED Deck.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one. Guess I’ll stick with riding the 2.4 band for now, hoping an update could fix these issues.

Thanks for your reply and giving me some sort of relief.

You could try running “journalctl” in the terminal which should give you log output. Mine contains some information about wifi and there could be some useful messages in there.
