I’m looking to play games similar to RDR2 where you can just sit and enjoy the natural scenery. Does anyone have any recommendations.

I was shocked of how good it still looks Tomb Raider on the steam deck. I played the trilogy from Epic Store and it looks and runs perfectly.

Hellblade: Senua’s sacrifice runs almost always smoothly with everything on high and it is stunningly good looking. Just one part of the game I had to turn down graphics cos fps were getting extremely low. And it’s not just about how nature, forest, rain, water etc looks good, but the damn sounds of that game, such and incredibile experience

Edit: forgot to mention: No Man’s Sky. Stunning. Might get repetitive sometimes but I like to play it for exploration and relax and I find myself sitting somewhere and just admire the random generated nature. Some planets are impressive.

Valheim. I get lost in the vistas. It can be as fighting intense as you want, or as builder intense as you want, or just chill and check out the vistas. I absolutely LOVED Subnautica and Satisfactory. They all three share the same vibe of “gotta do this gotta do that—oh damn, what a stunning view. Huh.” But all three are distinct games that will always stand out for me.

Elden Ring has some amazingly beautiful vistas because Fromsoft are masters at environmental art.
