you can return it. It’s the guy who bought one 2.5 weeks ago that’s crying.

I just got my Deck about 4-5 weeks ago, and if it were my only handheld I’d probably be pretty upset. But if I want a nicer screen I also have an Ally to play around with.

But yeah if I’d know this was coming out a month ago I’d have waited. A little annoyed I paid ‘too much’ for my Deck since now the original models are so much cheaper.

But I’d probably buy the Legion Go if I buy another portable, not another Steam Deck.

It seems like this came out of nowhere. Like yesterday afternoon suddenly there were a dozen reviews on YouTube and sales links were up and it was just like, “Wow wtf did this come from?” … especially after reading weeks ago that Valve said there were no plans to make an OLED version and there wouldn’t be a new iteration of the Steam Deck for a couple years.

So yeah that feels a little misleading and disingenuous.

I would return it and get a new OLED one.

The people who just bought one within the past few weeks, I understand why they’re upset.
