Yes I get that it kind of sucks having just bought one and then a new one gets announced but some people are in a panic now. Your Deck is not obsolete. It is still the best handheld pc you can buy right now. Enjoy it.

The people who just bought one within the past few weeks, I understand why they’re upset.
Honestly I hope they don’t frequently pull stuff like this. While I understand the want to revise the device now that chip issues have eased up, it feels very early to have a revision when the deck hasn’t even made it to the 2 year mark. Not to mention they include the highly requested OLED screen.
That being said, it’s nice to see all the improvements. So long as V2 keeps the improvements from v1, I’ll be happy. Though, I’d be genuinely pissed if they launch the v2 with no Hall Joysticks, only to add them after a year.
