Problem really is software. DLSS is simply better and the way it’s been designed, it will continuously to improve at a rate far better than FSR. And so far it’s been a trend where Nvidia announce a big feature release with each generational leap. What’s worrying is at what point do majority of the consumer get fed up with this cat and mouse chase where AMD just try to compete by coming with their own worse competitive solutions many months later which tries to brute force and make it available to as many people? It’s good PR, but if you’re buying a new GPU, there is little incentive to even get AMD and the premium starts to become very justifiable. AMD will never win and the gap will only start to widen as Nvidia manages to monetize their features far better and drag AMD along to whatever their vision for the industry is.
