Pretty extreme prediction. The truth is that AMD is able to reuse all those technology across it’s portfolio. It’s not like it’s just building graphics cards. IGP, consoles, ML chips all are using graphics technology means you have to keep updating that and improving. Since most of the work is being already done, as long as they don’t lose money on a whole, they’ll keep doing it. I think the graphics market could use a shakeup though. I gotta feel more for Intel cause they’re definitely losing money and they got no consoles to help lift their profits.
This really comes down to game developers imo and if they favour Nvidia and put all their upscaling tech for Nvidia in their games and give nothing to AMD. AMD will catch up on the other hardware capabilities, but can’t do much about exclusive features.
