I am extremely happy with my S10+ and it has served me for 4,5 years now. I still works fine and I don’t see a reason apart from new updates to get a new phone. How long will I be able to use it without having major issues? Battery is still holding for 3/4 day which is more than enough for me. The phone feels really old now (not sure how to describe it).

I could buy a new one but I am unsure if I am willing to spend 1000€ on a phone, I got the S10+ for 500€ which was an absolute steal imo. Did anyone went from a Plus version back to a normal? I am not sure if I want to miss the bigger screen ever again, I need some personal opinions on that.

I’ve recently upgraded from my Note10+ to the s23u. I miss my old friend… I mean the s23U is good, but I miss some features. Ofcourse I noticed that my new phone is quicker had way better camera’s. It really is your choice. However I would say go big or go home. Don’t buy samsungs + phone’s these days. Go ultra or normal. Maybe you can visit a store so you can see the s23 and s23 ultra. I love my s23u.

you could even go for the base s22 or s22+ People comaim about the battery but if a 4 year old phone lasts you three days you’re probably a really light user and any phone will be great.

The s23 series are smaller phones so keep that in mind. I have a s21 plus and to get the same size I would have to get the ultra. The screens on the s23 also scratch easily from what I have seen online. Not sure why Samsung thinks people want small phones that scratch easily.

I don’t like going lower in screen size.

I have always gone up in screen size in the past

    Iphone 4 - galaxy s4 - galaxy s9- galaxy s21 plus

Yeah thats why I ask if anyone has gone down in screen size. I went from Nexus5 - IPhone 7 - S10+, the normal S23 is almost 350€ cheaper than the plus version which would be a big dealbreaker for me. I should wait for black Friday maybe the plus or ultra will drop in price.

The S23 series are small? they’re the exact same sizes as the S22 series lol, and the S23+ is 6.6 inches. that’s not “small”. And it’s only an inch smaller than the S21+

At this point in time, you can also continue to use the S10+ a little bit longer.

The new S24 line will be presented in early 2024. Maybe one of those picks your interest or you can have an even better deal on a S23+ or Ultra.

Yeah but the S24 will be at least 900€ not sure I want to spend that much. Any idea if the S23U will drop more once the S24U comes out or on BlackFriday

Go regular or ultra. Do not get the plus. Your current screen is better for videos for it’s size. Minus 120 refresh rate.

I went from the S10+ to the S20, and then the s22 and now the S23. I wish my phone could be smaller actually, but I have small lady hands.

S10/Note10 series were LEGEND-aryy … Be it price vs features, be it performance , be it evrything …after that it all went downhill for samsung flagships.

I agree. I’m still running the s10e and really don’t want to “downgrade” to an s23. Plus it’s the last small-ish flagship.

I know and I really love the phone, but it just feels old at this point and I really dislike not getting new android or one ui updates anymore. If the phone was still getting regular support I would never switch

I’ve got the Galaxy S 23 plus and it has no weak points so I would wait for the Black Friday sale and you can trade in that S-10 plus.

Get the S21 Ultra. It’s dirt cheap now and definitely an upgrade over your s10 with still 2 years of updates left. That would be my pick
