I mean this could be my fault for modding it immediately but I got the 64gb thinking “hey they say they don’t got plans to make a new one and 512 gbs is to small for all the games I want I’ll just mod a 64gb and I’ll have a better steam deck then stock!” But when I modded it I broke the old back plate so I can’t even TRY to return it! I mean sure it’s my fault but on the other I feel so cheated cause how was I meant to know they would make a better one?!? Is anybody else experiencing the regret of buying this now old model steam deck too soon? (Doesn’t help that now the 64gb model is 50$ less so another kick in my damn dick)

Ps: mods in question are a jsaux clear back with a thermal pad and a 1tb ssd

It’s not obsolete at all. The deck you already have still deserve some love.

OP is the type of person that jumps in line the nano-second a new Apple product comes out because he doesn’t want to experiance FOMO over a slight upgrade.
