Still haven’t seen anything about an update about the new android or one ui. Does it depend on country or carrier, in usa on Verizon. Wondering if anyone else is still missing it
If you buy unlocked you’d get updates faster than if your device is controlled by your phone provider.

is this a US thing carriers releasing updates sounds ridiculous never heard of it before.
It happens in the UK too. I had a UK EE Zfold4 and it had some EE software on it(a couple of apps). It got updates around a week or two later than the normal one from Samsung,.it also had a different ROM build number so it could only get the EE version ROM. All that was different on it though was the few apps that came pre installed from EE.
Phones aren’t allowed to be locked and tied into networks in the UK its illegal.
The Zfold4 I had was unlocked, I used it with my 3 SIM, it just had the EE apps and EE ROM build number. There are ways of getting back to a fully clean Samsung ROM but its quite complicated (not just flashing the EUX ROM).
Take it to EE and ask them to remove it.
Thats what I would do.
The apps are just for your accounts and stuff you could always remove them :)
Think I hid them in the launcher, you can’t uninstall them, I tried.
In the US, carriers control when the update gets released.
I’m on T-Mobile, and my S23 Ultra got the update this morning.

+1 on my Flip 4, it didnt recieve October security patch and november security patch. the last update that was pushed was corrupted and only way to fix is update via smartswitch, it will show november update available. it was out 11/9 in US
Yes it depends on the country and what firmware you have. It will show up eventually, don’t worry
You can check which regions got the update already in the website SamFW. You can check your 3 letter firmware region in Settings > About Phone > Software Information

In Europe, it seems like it’s been rolled out ~2 weeks ago. Some nice updates!
It is always dependent on the carrier. Google will release the update then samsung will add their own and pass it on to the carriers.

If there’s a +1 I can give to Apple. They call the shots on updates. Not the carriers.

Just got it. T-Mobile on unlocked S 23 Ultra.
Seems stupid that an unlocked phone purchased directly from Samsung has to wait for some reason.
It seems like that sort of thing wouldn’t be carrier based, but then again, developers can be extremely dumb.
