Updating to 3.5.2 currently breaks steam deck LCD display settings specifically vibrancy & color temp controls. Others also reporting fans are noisier despite disabling updated fan controls.

I regret updating to 3.5.2 & now my LCD steam deck display looked just like it did before which was the shitty lifeless dull display.

With 3.5.2, it would seem Valve was only focused on Steam OLED models and judging by multiple reports of vibrancy controls breaking… It would seem Valve neglected QA check on their LCD models before 3.5.2 beta rollout.

To me this update has been beyond disappointing & I’m hoping this is not* going to be an indication of Valve removing native vibrancy controls for LCD models as both tactics to push people to OLED model or just neglecting LCD model owners.

These issues persist even after swapping channels, so you’ll have to wait for a fix. Upside it won’t be that long

I’m at work but this is pretty worrying. How do I avoid to update ? Usually when I turn off the deck updates auto-install when I boot it back up…
