I mean delivery estimate of 3-5 days is bad to start from. I live in the UK and maybe Amazon spoiled me a bit but these days I expect things to get posted next day for delivery a day after.
Lay off the weed. Just cos your dealer does sameday doesn’t make that as a universal standard
I agree only on your point that post-3.5 the LCD now looks fantastic imho. Not OLED quality obviously but a huuuge improvement.
Yeah, Windows is just a shit experience on these handheld devices. Don’t forget CoD shadowbans you if the APU changes TDP midgame lol.
Sadly Linux/SteamOS is just the way to go and Steam Deck truly provides that seamless OOTB console experience in addition to desktop support etc.
No, these are internal reworks made possible by reshuffling components when the OLED screen takes up less space
Deck 2 is 2-4 years away so 2025-2026
Next time stick to Stable if you’re a whiner
I ain’t selling my Q1 2022 baby. It’s history. It belongs in a museum.
The 1TB OLED SKU is the SKU that used to be 512GB, so that seems entirely in line. I doubt it’s a new keyboard theme unless they’re encouraging double dipping? But that would be a minuscule reason.
What kind of drugs are you on?
Startup movie is probably new, the others are probably shared between all SKUS.
I think they are taking their time with this - probably they want to adopt and use the new gyro features in Steam Input. I imagine some time this month or the next they will add controller support.
The other big thing is new drivers, as the current drivers are not optimized for CS2. So when 3.5 comes in maybe we can see perf improvements to CS2 as well (it runs worse on Deck than GO). So probably these two things combined are the source of the delay here.
I’ve noticed it’s not just 200 or 1040? Like I’ve seen instances of it being at 604 or 400 ish. I think there’s more to this issue than meets the eye and part of it might just be efficiency improvements that MangoHUD is not reporting correctly.
