I bought a SD the first time they went on sale (I don’t remember when that was exactly)

I love the SD but outside of 1 time I took it with me for a 1 week stay in a hotel I barely ever play it. I usually just end up playing steam games on my computer connected to a big screen in my bedroom.

Has anyone downsized from the SD to something else? If so, what did you downsize (and probably downgrade) to?

I can’t decide if I should just save my money and get something small and cheaper (something in that 50-150 price range) to play older games or if I should spend more and get something like the Odin 2 (starting at $299) that can emulate a variety of systems closer to what the SD can do? And yes I realize the Odin 2 is on the beefier side (But still lighter and smaller than the SD)

Of course this means I’m willing to settle for just playing PC games on PC. I’m just wondering how many retro systems I should be willing to settle for on my computer?

For anyone who has been in this situation what did you end up settling for?

For those who are where I am now and in the process of figuring out what you want to do … What are you leaning towards & why?

No, but I did buy a smaller handheld for some retro games to make it easier to some specific ones and arcade vertical games.

downsizing isnt the problem here my man. maybe you’re just already in a relaxed position when playing on pc, so you don’t really need a deck or any small console really.

what i did for the size is pick up a smaller case for it, definitely helped in picking it up more when i’m going out
