Is it a problem if I use the watch every time I take a bath? It is not a problem to say water while washing hands, but there is more water in the bathroom and shampoo etc. does the foams damage the clock?

The first couple of weeks of owning my s9 I would wear it while showering. Did it with my Samsung galaxy active 2 without problems. But after reading in this subreddit that it is not recommended I stopped.

For the last 3 years i shower, swim, wellness sauna, into the sea on holiday, etc. And it’s still working fine.

Like other comment I use the shower time to quick charge it . I have a sport band kind of long to dry so it’s win - win - win

Have showered wearing S6 daily for two and a half years. Haven’t noticed any issues. Had no idea it was not recommend - figured the watch needed to get clean too!

All I know is I’m not going to risk it. Apple Watches might be swim proof, but water ingress is not typically covered by warranty.

I owned a S3, S6 and now S9. I shower with my watch on nearly every day and have not had an issue with it.

I would not wear it into the sauna or jacuzzi due to the extreme heat, but shower water isn’t that hot and it keeps it clean.
