Ori is sub $10 and probably selling like gangbusters after practically every youtube channel is featuring the game as a good HDR test bed on the Deck. I’m surprised it’s not on this list.

I have a miyoo mini which I can pocket and play up to SNES and PSX on the go. I played practically all of MGS 1 and Chono Trigger for the first time on that. I have a New 3DS XL because there is no good way to play DS and 3DS games on a handheld emulator. And I have a Steam Deck. I also have a DSi XL and Vita but I rarely use those and kinda regret buying them.
You’re out of your depth, but props for getting in there. This is nearly forwards from grandma level. Good luck dude lol.
There is zero reason to buy a 1080p television anymore. 1080p content looks as good or better on any decent 4K screen. Personally I find that most of the games I play on Deck are fairly demanding, so anything running at less than 1080p60 is going to look pretty terrible in any TV. YMMV.
If you can afford the games just buy a switch. Emulating Switch games still kinda sucks, at least the newer higher end ones. People always rush in here to argue otherwise but it does. The only thing is if you can’t afford to buy games then it’s your only way most likely. If that’s the case enjoy your shader compilation stutter I guess. It’s better than nothing.
You can’t, the battery is a different size. I watched like 8 videos all saying the same thing yesterday, one of them was looking at the battery size compared to the original lol. Anyways, it’s 25% bigger battery, the OLED panel uses less power than the LCD, and the chip is a new 6nm process which is more energy efficient. This is basically the gen2 Switch and Switch OLED improvements rolled into one.
It’s okay, DeckHD is a marginal product at best. Resolutions above 800p on a handheld are pointless. They were never going to sell many.
Bro, just stop. It’s normal, stop screwing with things you don’t understand. Take two seconds and google instead of posting here https://www.baeldung.com/linux/loopback-lo-device
