I had a few hours of FOMO; that 1 TB drive (I’m too nervous to upgrade my 512 myself, so I roll with the original drive with a 512 SD card), the slightly bigger OLED screen, more efficient/quieter cooling, and an improvement to battery life (which would be most ideal to me)…
Then I did realize it’s essentially the same horsepower of a chip and Proton keeps getting updates, so as long as those two things are pretty consistent between the LCD and OLED, I think I’ll be OK until SD2.
But, happy for those who did get the OLED and that we are still an awesome community that can coexist and welcome new Deck owners as well.
Can someone please please explain to me how to get/install this like I’m a 7 year old? Even via DM. I’m still very new to ROMs (half of mine wind up not running). And yes, I own the original. My #2 favorite N64 game behind GoldenEye.
Man, seeing this on Deck at 60 FPS would be something else.
