For those they don’t know, Perfect Dark got decompiled, and runs beautifully on the Deck. 5 stars

I think this game was my first ever Multiplayer experience. My brother, my neighbour and I used to play toggether as kids. I remember we had a game that always had us fucked up laughing. We’d stand in a triangle, all spawn with the tranquiliser gun mains, then a random secondary. A aimed at B, B aimed at C, and C aimed at A. We all shot the ever living fuck out of eachother with the tranq, then ran around for a few seconds before swapping to our secondaries and starting to play for real.

For the uninitiated, the tranq in Perfect Dark just made your vision blue like fuck when you moved. After unloading a whole magazine into eachother, your whole screen just smeared and you couldn’t see anything. We had great craic.

Can someone please please explain to me how to get/install this like I’m a 7 year old? Even via DM. I’m still very new to ROMs (half of mine wind up not running). And yes, I own the original. My #2 favorite N64 game behind GoldenEye.

Man, seeing this on Deck at 60 FPS would be something else.

Perfect Dark is… your favorite game? Is that for real? It’s on my shortlist of worst game ever made, occupying one of the top 3 spots on that list with dubious pride. It’s dreadful. 0 / 10 feels like it’s overrating it significantly, not many games achieve that level of awfulness. -10 / 10 feels accurate. It is easily, without the slightest shadow of a doubt, one of the worst games of all time. There is no redeeming quality to it.

Why don’t you list some of your favorite games so others can shit all over them?

I bet you’re fun at parties.

Hey, to each their own. No game satisfies 100% of people, but if you look up the wiki article for this game and read how people received it, your opinion is definitely in the minority.

      Here, check it out:

I guess all the following publications didn’t know what they were talking about?

Hey dude, did you find a work around for re mapping the controls? I was really struggling with Star Fox 64 earlier tonight.
