They seem to be one of the only huge corporations around these days that realise that prioritising the customer pays off. You make a slightly lower profit margin and pass that saving on to your customers? They’ll love you forever.
Because there’s no objective reality. They both do extremelty different things. They were most likely both reviewed against what they claimed to do. The Playstaion Portal isn’t and has never even attempted to be a rival for any other handheld.
Maybe it’s just really good at being a device to stream your PS5 to?
Shanbo88@alien.topBtoSteam Deck•All versions of the Steam Deck are great, and it’s awesome to see how successful this has been for Valve.English1·2 years agoPeople accusing Valve of all people of a cash grab just really have no clue what they’re talking about. Gabe Newell has been on the record countless times talking about how difficult he finds it to decide when to release new versions so as not to fuck over the consumer base.
I think this game was my first ever Multiplayer experience. My brother, my neighbour and I used to play toggether as kids. I remember we had a game that always had us fucked up laughing. We’d stand in a triangle, all spawn with the tranquiliser gun mains, then a random secondary. A aimed at B, B aimed at C, and C aimed at A. We all shot the ever living fuck out of eachother with the tranq, then ran around for a few seconds before swapping to our secondaries and starting to play for real.
For the uninitiated, the tranq in Perfect Dark just made your vision blue like fuck when you moved. After unloading a whole magazine into eachother, your whole screen just smeared and you couldn’t see anything. We had great craic.
