sure it’s an upgrade. It’s for folks who haven’t bought a deck yet.

Personally, I won’t be getting the upgrade since I just got my deck in July, but I totally get it if folks do. It works for what I use it for and that’s what matters. Plus my OCs will probably put me in the range of the OLED anyway.

yeah for sure. I just got my deck in July and don’t regret it at all, even with this. This model is definitely more for the folks who are just now getting a deck rather than those of us who already have one.

the only way I’d upgrade to the OLED is if valve did an upgrade program or something like that for us, and even then I’d question it given I won the silicon lottery with the first one.

just taking a wild guess here, but maybe 2 watts are being used for the other components? so while you’ve got a 15W TDP, 2 watts are going to power the RAM, screen, etc.
