Actually I managed to do some sketchs on Krita using my XP PEN DECO 01 V2 thanks to a driver install and some instructions out there. So far Pen responds very well and instantly, as usual you can set your hotkeys. As for Krita, very good and useful on the go if you like Docked setup or if you have a small tablet you can be very portable. There’s even someone who got a Drawing Tablet with a Screen and worked miraculously.

I haven’t tested GIMP and any sorts but that’s as far I used on Krita. Maybe I am wrong on this perhaps someone got a good experience than I do.

  • Honestly as someone who owns a 256gb Steam Deck (now almost a year btw!!) I enjoyed it so much as it has opened a lot of amazing possibilities to go docked, portable and play multiplayer with my Brother while having my own personal rig. It was fun!! And I managed to get the same feel as I had my old PSP that I missed out a lot. Hell even I showed to my friend group and they absolutely loved it, the feel and the portable gaming on power of the Deck!!

The OLED is a huge upgrade to many and lots of those who wanted more power, more quality in color and pop. But I wouldn’t risk for this one, I’m happy with this one and will upgrade to 1TB soon to make it the most of it by having my unfinished catalog and lots of cool Linux tinkering as I learn more about the OS. And Dual Boot ofc, can’t forget that!!!
