It’s still annoying. The reason we buy a specific product is so we can all get the same experience. There never should be a difference in one to the next unless there is a sku change or public announcement.

I love my Steam Deck, and I like Valve, this is not the move. I understand they probably did this to send more units out faster but its frustrating.

Imagine spending 600 bucks knowing someone else spent the same 600 but got the better one. even if its a small difference its still a difference.

I’ve given up on using the Steam Deck without wifi especially on a trip. The last two trips I was on i basically had a useless brick for a gaming console. Thankfully I had my switch.

Even after they made it “Better” it just seems like the Steam Deck will be a handheld PC rather than a “portable” one for me.
