The sheer number of reports about this would suggest that it is normal!

I contacted steam about it and they told me it was normal because of the OLED design change.

Mine rattle if shaken, & y/x is slightly looser. But my buttons still work fine.

I’m happy with my 512gb OLED. I’m used to the looser buttons now.

Get the OLED, highest storage (1tb) if you are happy with price. But the 512gb is also good! He can always get an sd card to increase storage at a later date.

Yes it is totally worth the extra money.

I found a t5 torx to be useful for some of the screws also!

Yep, this is how I’m running D4 now. Used to be a 40/40 guy on previous LED deck. 45 works amazingly, feels smooth as butter & the deck is whisper quiet!
