Valve doesn’t give a shit since most people are going to buy games from Steam no matter what device they have. Before the Deck even came out Valve was saying they hope other manufacturers jump on board and make their own versions.

You’d be surprised at the number of used Decks sold on eBay in the past couple of days for ridiculous prices. There was a 64GB model sold on there this morning for 320 dollars plus ~70 for shipping. Somebody literally spent $390 for a used 64GB model with no warranty instead of getting a 256GB model directly from Valve for $399 with a one year warranty. So if you’re wanting to sell your Deck right now you can probably find a sucker that will pay you full price and upgrading to the OLED model won’t hurt your wallet that much.
If you like turn based JRPGs then the Legend of Heroes Trails series is what you want. There are 10 of them in English so far. Trails in the Sky trilogy, the two Crossbell games, Trails of Cold Steel 1 through 4 and Trails into Reverie. Trails in the Sky 1 or Trails of Cold Steel 1 are the best starting points to get into the series. They’re all connected so you don’t want to start with any of the other games really.
Love seeing Trails games in the wild. Have you played through the whole series yet or are you still working on it? I’m all caught up(played through all 10 games multiple times) so I’m just waiting for the next game in 2024.
