  • I agree that you can’t help your illness and job loss, but the rest is very much on you.

    You could have easily done research to see wht worked best for you. That is what I did. I have no experience with hardware, so I knew swapping out the SDD was out of the question. “I got swayed into doing it” isnt a valid excuse. Are you not an adult with a functioning brain? Think for yourself and do your own research.

    Their decision wasn’t stupid in the least an decent of people who did their homework couldn’t be happier with their decision. You keep the 64 GB in case you have to RMA the device. Their expectation was that people would do their research and figured out what’s was best for them.

    If you are going to bitch about the Linux-based system too, I’m done talking to you at this point. That aspect wasn’t hidden at all and is actually an asset for many. Hell, I’ve never used Linux before now, but I’m fine with it. That’s because I have no issue looking things up if I have issues. I’m not a tinkerer, but even I can do that much and I knew that going into the purchase.

    Sell the damn thing, buy an Ally, or Legion, and go away.
