I hate how these posts that put down other products always get a ton of upvotes. The Portal has a limited use, but compared to the Deck, it has a bigger screen, is lighter, has a built-in dualsense, and connects more easily to a PS5. It’s not for everyone, but that alone doesn’t mean it’s bad.

The old games I still have on my to-play list. Thief 1 and 2. System Shock 2. Oh man
Dual trackpads, SteamOS, and the plethora of tutorials to get games to work are why I’ll still get the OLED Deck when I get the chance. My backlog of games also involves older games that probably are easier to run on Linux then they are on a modern Windows OS.
I also really really want the OLED because I usually play in a low-light environment with the screen on the lowest brightness.
I seriously do. I plan on getting one sometime next year.
