Do you do any video encoding or audio work?
Because I think the M1 Pro has been solid, but no one would say no to a 20-35% performance increase

Option 3: Remove your moderator status.
What else would need to be done? That’s literally the most obvious answer when COI is involved. Stop being involved with one of the parties.
EU doesn’t even have sideloading yet and you are already creating fake scare-fantasies in your head, my god lol
I know people shit on Macrumours but they did a little writeup to go with a review from a Max Tech co-host, and it covers this pretty well.

The whole “8GB is as good as 16GB on Intel/AMD” makes literally zero sense.
PlayStation 4 Pro had 8 GB of RAM
That came out in 2016.
That was 7 years ago.
Even PlayStation 5 has “just” 16 GB.
That’s twice as much as what the entry MacBook “Pro” starts with, so…
MacBook Pro 14 inch starts with 8GB of RAM.
Costs 400 dollars to double that.
Which part of that make sense to you?
Which part of Apple claiming “The most advanced Mac laptops for demanding workflows.” screams 8GB isn’t an offensive ripoff?
I’d be going from the M1 Pro with a 10 core (8P + 2E) setup to any of the M3 Pros…
is the 11 core a (6P + 5E) combo? Either way, seems like a downgrade, so no reason to upgrade for another 2-3 years
It’s already somewhat noticeable on my current MBP (M1P), I can’t imagine nearly doubling the response time and not noticing…
Visually it’s a good looking display, but I’d think pulling down the response times and improving blooming would have been a priority.
