That’s disheartening. I’m not willing to give up my LE colorway because their shit qc. If my replacement has a dead pixel, I may have to wait until Samsung replacement panels become available and buy those. And I’d also trust valve less after that.

To be fair though, faulty displays is a pretty big issue compared to the screen issue which is a non-issue. People are completely justified being upset at receiving faulty displays being put on only the most expensive model
I hope my replacement one doesn’t have any…
I’d probably not be as fussed about it if my dead pixels weren’t in the middle of the screen. But because of it’s placement, in any bright scene, it’s actually quite noticeable.
Got me LE today and it’s got a full dead pixel and a dead subpixel with BOE panel. And they’re both in the middle of the screen. Rip guess I get to wait even longer to get to enjoy it. Sent a support ticket to RMA already.
This has been a very unfortunate launch and very frustrating. My LE has a fucking dead pixel on it. BOE panel.
With trackpad settings, would there be a way to have one of them act like a throttle from a hotas? I’ve started playing a flight sim with a controller and the steam deck seems like it could be better than a normal controller since it has more buttons. But, using throttle up and down on a and b is not as precise as I’d like. So I was wondering if you could say use the trackpad as a throttle where top to bottom would just set the throttle at whatever percentage.
I do plan to get an actual hotas set up eventually though. But if possible, this could make it a bit easier before then.
Yup I included a picture immediately and got the RMA label on Saturday with no issue.
