Yeah I’d rather see iPadOS expand to something like a dedicated laptop or a dedicated tiny desktop form factor (Apple TV box?) than see MacOS attempt to be a touch OS.

I’m disappointed this is iPhone only.
I’m confused by Snell’s post.
Surely he’s been experimenting with stickers since iOS17 was released? Only then it was only in the + menu, not also in the context menu.
Second, I’ve used sticker packs and iMessage before and the stickers usually show up on the message, so I’m not sure why that would be considered unexpected behavior.
Yeah whatever this ends up being, I imagine it’ll be pretty boring.
Depending on what Apple’s goals are with the education market, I’ve sometimes wondered if Apple should rename/rebrand iPadOS to something more generic.
Take that OS and install it on lesser hardware (AppleTV box, 12” touch screen notebooks) and sell it to schools. K-8 students don’t need a full OS like MacOS and it’s easier to lock down iPadOS/iOS while still providing the full suite of iPad apps.
I agree, and if I didn’t have kids, I’d probably cancel many of the subscription services I have. That’s one area where TV+ is lacking.
