Made a comment about people ordering the Steam Deck Oled or new buyers of the Steam Deck.

There’s like somewhat high theft for these Steam decks because the Steam Decks ship in the same literal box it’s made. It’s the box that has a label that says what it is with a valve logo and your address and from there is the literal steam deck in the case. It’s very easy to steal these as from what I remember last year at this same time of the year, many peoples steam decks were stolen.

I’m not trying to give you a negative thought but that’s lowkey a red flag.

I heard Rumble disconnects bluetooth controllers. idk if the bluetooth is bad on the device but it keeps disconnecting if you have rumble turned on for me at least. Also I heard from a big post on here long ago, having the steam deck under the tv messes up the connection as well

anyone know if they will ship in the same box it comes in ?

That was very bad for those ordering so many product was stolen because the box was the actual box the Steam Deck was in that’s how it ships and a label on it lmao. Nothing hiding what the product is

Prime example of the better product not necessarily being the better product.

I would agree however the screen wasn’t the only thing that was changed.

For people just saying this is just an OLED Steam Deck are being disingenuous or simply don’t understand or have not looked under the hood of the New Steam Deck OLED Version. To me personally, this is a Steam Deck 2 however Valve is probably advertising it as a Mid Gen refresh to keep consumers not mad because lots of people bought a SD during the steam sale and the new refurbished program they have some months ago and this thing comes out.

-The new PS5 mid gen refresh didn’t get any thing near these amount of changes.

-The Switch OLED simply only got a new screen and not even a new battery and slight increase to storage.

This new SD is not a mid gen refresh. This is literally the Steam Deck 2.
